Please note:

Effective September 6, 2016 all Garrett Morgan Academy and International HS students; with the exception of identified Special Education students; who live 2.0 miles or more from their designated school will be eligible for New Jersey Transit Bus Tickets.

The Yellow School buses will no longer be servicing our students!

What That Means:

1. If you live less than 2.0 miles from 200 Grand Street, you will either have to walk to school, or be dropped off by a parent or guardian. (Unless you are an eligible and identified Special Education student.)

2. If you live more than 2.0 miles from 200 Grand Street, you will be notified by the District Transportation office of your eligibility for the NJ Transit Bus Tickets, and additional information concerning the process for distribution and management of the tickets will be sent to you.

3. Any changes in address must be processed through your school's Main Office, or Central Registration if unable to make the change at your designated school.

Attached is a copy of the Letter sent home with all district students the Week of June 6th. GMA students were given the letter in their homerooms on June 9, 2016
